If you are a developer, NTFS is your enemy. Windows 11 now supports Dev Drive, based on the Resilient File System (ReFS).
The Pro Setup: Go to Settings -> System -> For developers -> Dev Drive.
It uses a specialized filesystem optimized for high-volume file operations (like node_modules or /bin folders) and automatically puts Microsoft Defender into ‘Performance Mode’ for that drive.
