Photoshop: Save and Load Presets for Consistency

💾 One Click, Perfect Settings

Recreating settings every time is tedious. Presets save your settings. Curves, Levels, Layer Styles — reuse with one click.

📝 Saving Presets

1. Open adjustment layer (Curves, Levels, etc.)
2. Adjust settings
3. Click the gear icon → Save Preset
4. Name your preset
5. Click Save

Or:
1. Layer Style dialog
2. Click "New Style"
3. Name and save

Preset types:
- Adjustment layer presets (.amp)
- Layer styles (.asl)
- Gradients (.grd)
- Patterns (.pat)
- Brushes (.abr)
- Shapes (.csh)

🎯 Loading Presets

1. Open adjustment layer
2. Click gear icon → Load Preset
3. Select preset file
4. Click Load

Share presets:
- Export .amp, .asl files
- Share with team
- Consistency across projects

Popular presets:
- Vintage Film Look
- Cinematic Teal & Orange
- Black & White Conversions
- Professional Retouching
